First-generation entrepreneurs

Vikram and Vinod, both from Hisar, started their journey in 2009, straight after graduating — neither came from a business family.

They set out to become key players in northern India's fast-growing retail market, and built Smart Shopping into the group that now brings premium international fashion to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities — still run from our head office in Hisar.

## Our journey

Seventeen years, from one multi-brand shop to master franchise partner for six international principals.

- 2009

### The first store

A 1,800 sq ft multi-brand store in Sirsa — the foundation of everything since.

- 2010–16

### Manufacturing, then Hisar

Garment manufacturing for outsourcing in Tirupur and Delhi taught us the apparel business from the inside. Our second store opened in Hisar in 2014.

- 2017

### BESTSELLER MBO

Our first store with BESTSELLER, and our step into organised retail as a franchise partner.

- 2020

### Master franchise of BESTSELLER

Master franchise partner for BESTSELLER's brands in North India.

### Celio

A second master franchise, bringing the French menswear brand to our cities.

**Where are Smart Shopping stores located?**
We run 34 stores across Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, with Uttarakhand opening soon. The largest clusters are in Punjab (16 stores) and Haryana (8), and our head office is in Hisar, Haryana.
